Administrative Professional

We are currently looking to fill a position within our Administrative team. This position will allow you to learn our business from the ground-up and gain experience in many aspects of our business. Previous employees who have been successful in this position have earned a wide variety of college degrees including Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Political Science, Education, Communications, English, Math and more! We are looking for sharp, motivated individuals who place an emphasis on details and organization.
An ideal candidate will need to be both detail oriented, and possess strong communication skills. This involves a profound level of problem solving and the ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment. Production Supervisor

Being a part of the Manufacturing Supervision team will allow you to learn our business from the ground up and gain experience in many facets of our company. We work as a team at MORryde, so you’ll communicate with a wide variety of departments, from engineering to sales and administration to management. Exposure to business practices are endless given you are a sharp, detail oriented individual, who has the ability to problem solve.

We currently have supervision opportunities available on 2nd Shift: 1:00pm – 9:00pm


Supervisor Duties Include:

• Manage and coordinate production schedules with the goal of improving production efficiencies and providing raving fan service to customers

• Enforce company and safety policies

• Promote a safe, positive work environment by training, coaching and motivating team members

•  Identify and develop leaders within the department

•  Work with all team members to produce quality products for customers

Requirements

• Candidates should have the ability to work well with a diverse staff, be able to take on special projects, and work independently

•  Ability to handle stress, maintain organization and multi-task in a fast paced environment

Inside Sales Representative

MORryde is currently looking to add to our Inside Sales Team. This position will be charged with providing extreme customer service to our aftermarket distributors, dealers, and retail customers with the end goal of providing product information and sales support that will help sell the advantages of MORryde products. This position will also be responsible for providing technical support. Active listening and critical thinking skills will be needed in order to assess the problem at hand. A strong focus on customer service is key to our success as a company and your success as an inside sales representative.

 

Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree is preferred

• High level of attention to detail in order to process orders, returns, and customer instructions correctly

• Ability to understand the customer’s perspective, while handling a large volume of phone calls

• General technical aptitude with the ability to trouble-shoot mechanical workings is helpful

• Ability to take initiative and work effectively without constant supervision

• Must be able to handle extended periods of time at their desk assisting in post-sales activities including parts and service inquiries, product troubleshooting, and warranty administration

• Ability to analyze and solve problems is an integral part of this position.

Entry Level Engineer

Maintenance Electrical Technician

MORryde is currently accepting resumes for Maintenance Electrical Technicians to join our growing Manufacturing Team. As part of the MORryde Maintenance Team you will support our manufacturing operations by performing scheduled preventive maintenance, repairing production equipment, supporting new equipment installations, and assisting team members with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced maintenance technicians that have a focus in electrical troubleshooting.

We currently have maintenance opportunities available on our 2nd shift (1:00pm – 9:00pm) and 3rd Shift (9:00pm – 5:00am).

Benefits & Safety Coordinator

MORryde is looking for the professional with the right combination of skills to fill a position in our fast paced Employee Services (HR) Department.  This is an opportunity where you’ll be able to work with all departments and team members.  

In this role you will assist with the management of day-to-day human resource operations, but will have an emphasis in Benefit Administration, Compliance, and Safety.

We are seeking a person who is energetic, motivated, and passionate about providing “Raving Fan” customer service; who takes direction and can also work very independently, taking ownership for tasks and deadlines, and who is passionate about providing exceptional customer service in all interactions.   It is also vital that you be analytical, enjoy working with data and have the ability to use critical thinking skills to make sound and strategic judgements when it comes to benefit planning.

 


Responsibilities:

•  Manage all employee benefit administration including enrollments, eligibility tracking, system entries and report monitoring

- Work closely with broker and internal staff to structure open enrollments and execute plan changes

- Manage employee inquiries about benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401(k) plans

- Continued development and implementation of company wellness plan and initiatives

 

•  Manage company safety/ workers’ compensation initiatives, tracking and reporting

- Work closely with broker to review company statistics in order to reduce overall risks

- Develop, implement and monitor safety initiatives/ programs

- Investigate accidents to identify root causes and work with internal team members to prevent future occurrences

- Completion of proper internal and external reporting – weekly, monthly and annually   

 


Requirements:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred, but not required

Sales Account Manager –
Commercial Bus

MORryde is looking to add to our Sales Team through the addition of an Account Manager.   This person would specialize in the Commercial Bus industry, and would be responsible for calling on Commercial Bus Dealers and Bus Manufacturers, while working closely with State Transit across the country and Canada.  Travel of approximately 90 nights per year to industry shows will be required in an effort to push/sell MORryde proprietary products. Each Account Manager is responsible for the day to day details of the sales and service effort to our OEM and distribution customers. This individual will also work closely with each department at MORryde to ensure we meet and exceed our customer expectations when it comes to the products and services we provide. 


Responsibilities:

•   Bachelor’s degree is preferred

•   Outside sales experience required – 5+ years preferred

•   Commercial Bus experience is preferred, but not required

•   Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•   High attention to detail with a self-starter mentality

•   Great attitude and strong understanding of being a team player

•   Ability to effectively manage a diverse customer base while excelling in relationship based selling

Aftermarket Sales Rep

We are currently looking to fill a spot within our Sales Department. This individual will be responsible for working directly with distributors and dealers to sell and promote our aftermarket product line. Key components of this job include:

 

•  Direct Contact

- Communicating with new and current dealers; formal and informal settings.

- Traveling with Distributors and Manufacturing Representatives. This involves training the representatives.

 

•  Phone Communication

- Receive calls from distributors and dealers

- Follow up on retail leads

- Initiate calls to dealers concerning products and promotions

 

•  Support Activity

- Work with marketing team on development of product literature

 

•  Product Development

• Identify potential new products for our aftermarket line

• Develop keen understanding for current products

 

•  Travel

• Local and long distance

• Attend shows/industry events

• Visit distributors and dealers to present and discuss our aftermarket product line

 

 

Job Requirements

•  Previous sales experience, 2+ years is  highly preferred

•  Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members both verbally and written

•  Possess a positive, team oriented attitude

•  Ability to maintain organization to effectively manage a diverse customer and product base

•  Strong presentation/public speaking skills 

•  Local and long distance travel, up to 50%
